Gym Sauna Conversion Project
This project involved removing an existing shower block within the ladies’ changing room of a local gym and converting the space into a contemporary sauna room.
Commercial conversion projects require careful planning so the existing services can be adapted safely and the finished space remains practical, durable and suitable for regular use. As part of our commercial plumbing services, the work was coordinated around the layout of the changing facilities and the requirements of the new sauna room.
Scope of Work
- Removal of the existing shower block
- Preparation of the area for the new sauna room
- Alteration of the associated plumbing where required
- Installation work to suit the new room layout
- Final finishing and completion checks
Installation Approach
The existing shower area was carefully stripped out before the available space, plumbing services and requirements of the new sauna room were assessed.
Any necessary pipework alterations were completed to suit the revised layout, with careful attention given to creating a clean and practical installation within a busy commercial environment.
The work was coordinated efficiently to minimise disruption to the gym while ensuring each stage of the conversion was completed in the correct order.
Where required, adjustments were also made to the property’s heating system to support the requirements of the converted space.
Before completion, the associated plumbing and heating work was checked thoroughly to confirm safe and reliable operation.
End Result
The completed conversion transformed the former shower area into a contemporary sauna room suited to the needs of the gym and its members.
The revised layout, adapted services and carefully completed finishing work have created a practical commercial space designed for regular long-term use.
